Good day to you Wanderer! We here at Dalwhinnie Fields just closed out the EMP (Empire of Medieval Pursuits) event Crown War. Two individuals Aveloc and Bayan were vying to become the next king of Ardesca. Both marched their armies to the Fields of Dalwhinnie to war upon eachother. As the hosts here, we had an absolute blast!! The Members of EMP who flew in from as far away as Washington state, California and Maine Kept things interesting as one on one tournaments kept everyone entertained on thursday and Friday until the HUGE war on saturday. 133 fighters in armor clashed upon the bridge below the keep. Things looked Dire for Aveloc as his army was bested on the bridge. In the End, after a few more battles it came down to one on one combat, between Bayan and Aveloc. Aveloc was able to win the close battle with a dagger through the skull of his opponent! Congrats to Aveloc ! As for us, we hope to see the good folk from EMP back at site in the future for another exciting event.
